Three trips have now been run to Daren Cilau in South Wales. Several of us have become fixated on exploring the cave despite its knightmare entrance. Our latest 56 hour epic produced some nice photos but not many new pretties so we now need to find out where they are and RETURN again. Originally planned as a climbing trip, more snow and ice than expected turned it into a walking trip. We started up Y Garn unphased by the numerous ice axes and crampons being shown off by other walkers and had much fun in the deep snow before viewing the ice waterfalls in the Devils Kitchen descent.
